To think, a stained glass from a deserted church. Wings raised, as bleached as a birch. Quietly hailing in the downy sunlight. A creature as old as the dawn's first and last light, living and dying each night. As motionless and still as one can be, a creature warped yet embraced by the trees. Forsooth, are any as old as he, the father of the trees.
