Biography
(Distinguished Bi)
This item is an inherited piece that has passed at least 4 generations. Regular use has corroded the original augmentation, along with only being particularly compatible with the original user but it seems as if the family has understood this and kept to royal blood.
The comb's magic allows the wearer to wield an invisible and featherweight sword upon saying the command word. It has been used in this manner.... 17 times. Each successive generation of bearer makes the sword less present. I estimate in about 350 years it will be completely mundane again.

A rogue mage, escaping a destined fate to unite two great peoples. He can be found at a shady tavern on the opposite end of town from the Snowed Inn, where he buys and sells rather suspect magical artifacts. Some of his regulars might think that he pockets the better pieces that come through his shop, but he insists- only the best for his clients. |

Yrdoviel traces circles on his crystal ball and your lair comes into view.
Your clan is diverse and accepts all comers, even those simply passing through to greater ends. You have an appreciation for the stylistic choices of others, but have no patience for those who are not particularly passionate.

Yrdoviel pours you and himself cups of tea, but as you sip he taps the teacup with a single claw, gesturing for you to bring it down to the table.
The energy of your lair is calming and brings peace to weary travellers, an admirable trait in these frigid lands. The camoflaged palette also brings your lair security; compounding the sense of safe haven and respite. However, this guarded sense means that those looking to join have to pass tests which are not immediately obvious.
My advice is not to be afraid of trying something new every so often. There may be potential where you are not looking.
