Threnody is an ancient imperial. His current body may not show his true age, but if you stare at his soul, through to his ever-so-tired eyes. You will catch a glimpse of how old he is. Not only that but how tired and sad Threnody is as well. Threnody is even older than the Guild Master or some of the shaded beings the Guild has taken down. But nobody but Threnody himself knows truly how old he is. And the old imperial isn't ready to tell.

His past is filled with several lifetimes worth of regrets, bad and haste decisions that still haunt him to this day. There was a time when Threnody tried to make men's of his wrongdoings, but he has given up doing that a long ago and now he just doesn't care anymore. There is no point to care.

Threnody could try to do something good, but what's the point? Some dragons just aren't born to be good. And he is one of those. Faith had set this path for him and he can't change it, but Threnody doesn't want to embrace it either.

The only thing that brings him at least a little bit of joy is Equilibrium's funny little cantrips.
