PERSONNEL DATA ::
The chief doctor of the [plague doc clan]. Dautheill practices in medicine and infectious diseases, constantly trying to come up with combatants to all kinds of ailments. Even when not officially working she continues her work on other kinds of potions and brews. While few outsiders get the chance to meet with her at the fort, she is usually the doctor that shows up for house calls. As both a doctor and a plague dragon, she has a moral conflict when it comes to directly removing diseases from others and instead prefers to help with the side effects of these ailments, which may possibly give the patient immunity. If the disease has the potential to be deadly however, she will fully treat her patients to the best of her ability.
While being on good terms with the rest of the sanatorium, she doesn't have any close friends or family and rarely talks to others outside of her job. Few have seen her without her mask, as her face seems to have partially rotted and exposes the skull. Her wings are completely tattered and normally remain folded down, preventing any flight. She walks slower than most dragons as though in pain, yet denies anything.
Some have noticed how spends much of her time in the deeper levels of the fort, where few are allowed. It is also noteworthy that she has made quite a few enemies and on occasion has had mercenaries searching for her, only to be dealt with by herself. She's also not afraid to experiment the effects of something on herself, so it can be a common occurrence for her to disappear to her quarters for days.
BACKGROUND HISTORY ::
The clan Dautheill grew up was very true to their plague roots - you must survive, no matter the cost to others. Basic first aid was taught to all the hatchlings, but only for their own use rather than on another dragon. Dautheill would often get injured from fights with other hatchlings or the general dangers lurking in the Scarred Wasteland, so would often have to put these skills to use and gradually got better at it, eventually even excelling over the elders of the clan. She was fascinated by biology and would save her treasure to buy scrolls on the subject from travelling clans passing through.
When she was old enough, she left with one of the travelling clans who were impressed with her healing abilities and convinced her she should use her abilities to help others. Despite this going against her core beliefs, the idea fascinated her as she thought it could help her learn more, so she accepted the role as a healer for the new clan. This went well for a while but there was always the yearning she could be something more, so she decided to enrol in a university in the Sunbeam Ruins where she could study many different scrolls and books until she could become a fully fledged doctor. Eventually she got her qualifications, and moved on to another clan.
The next period of her life is a mystery she will not divulge. All that is known is during this time she lost part of her face, tattered her wings and gained a limp. Attempts to pry into this past have been met with dismissive remarks, intimidating glares and eventually threats.
She ended up coming to the Southern Icefields, landing at the shores of [main clan] when but a few dragons lived there. Offering her services as both a doctor and researcher, she was given permission by the clan leader to run her operations in the nearby fort. As [main clan] grew, more researchers would join with her studies, eventually leading to the establishment of a university hospital, the [plague doc clan].
