I can imagine, since she lives in the Spiral Keep, that her fires have grown strong enough to keep itself ignited under water for a period of time. When this happens, the water around the fire starts becoming warmer. I can see some of the other dragons crowding around the fire when the waters become especially cold.

Faes have always been a little unsettling, and Hellapeno only enforces that. With her naturally monotone voice combined with a certain affinity for fires, "unsettling" is only one of the words used to describe her when her clanmates find her sitting alone on land in a grass fire studying the movements of the flames. She's working with clan mages to invent a kind of fire that can burn beneath the waves, a goal her clanmates hope she does not accomplish, but know that she will.
