SethofNine is... odd. It's like he doesn't belong here. 'Here' not being the Drachany'a clan, nor the Starwood Strand, 'here' in this case means Sornieth. He says he's a Tenno, a special kind of person touched by the Void, that has some weird powers - usually channeled through machines called Warframes on a process named transference. Since these terms don't make sense to most of his now clanmates, Seth simplifies it saying he has some weird powers and his magic can affect machinery. Odd as his story may be, this Pearlcatcher fits quite well with the bit of Arcane land he's settled on - he's inquisitive, albeit a little introverted, and very agile. Always willing to help a friend, though not a very great mediator - SethofNine tends to stand by whoever gives him the best offer.

He says he remembers his life as a hatchling, on a place with other Tenno like him. All children aboard a ship. Him and his closest friends had made a fantasy squad, mimicking the adults they knew, a group of nine make-believe explorers... and then the ship got stuck in the Void, or so it seemed to him. The chaos. The weird abilities. Voices, both physical and not, a blur of memories and thoughts until all the ship's crew, all but the children, were gone, until he was frozen in place, asleep. When Seth woke up, he knew nothing of himself, his age, appearance, his voice... he looked down and saw a suit of some sort. It seemed both alive and mechanical. All he could remember was his name... and a number. So he dubbed himself "Seth of Nine", and proceeded to get his memories back, on a system that wanted him, and all the other Tenno, dead.
