Cosmic horror
"Adorned fathomless dark creation" Powehi the Black Hole "When all stones, all magic, when even time itself unravels, only the Shade will remain... then, it too will be consumed by the Dark Star." When you stop and think about it, a Guardian is a perfect vessel for a universal being that ravenous. Powehi is not a dragon as much as she is a manifestation of the cosmos, the living soul of a black hole. Mute and simple-minded, she doesn't eat or consume things as much as one would expect - this cosmic Guardian just walks around, inflicting a mild sense of dread in anyone nearby. Powehi so far seems to be nothing more than a reminder of the fate of the universe, of how everything will be still in the end, and even the Deities shall be consumed... but only time will tell what she truly wants, and why she's here this early. |
