Razeth escaped from his birth clan hearing those words, small paws taking him far across the previously unexplored terrain. He was a hatchling due to serve the deities far above, an exalted one. But the young Imperial did not want to, preferring the potential of freedom and a life thriving on Sornith rather than go serve their gods. With a soft scarf that looked like waves spun into cloth wrapped around his shoulders, and his mothers soft urgency in his mind, Razeth set off quickly to escape his birth clan and instead find his own home.

______ Along his travels, Razeth witnessed a great many sights and creatures to behold. Impressive inventions, melodious nature, and harmony or strife amongst other clans greeted him in his path. None, he found, had quite as much impact as when he found another Imperial lying gravely wounded on the borders of the Plague territories, just before the Wandering Contagion. Razeth just then felt a strong sense of protectiveness, and the need to help this fellow dragon.
Not long after this chance meeting, did Razeth start nursing the female back to full health, taking care of her and keeping them both safe from passing enemies. The Azure imperial learned of his patient’s name when she eventually came too, and was all too elated to finally meet Sarash.

______ The two became fast friends and companions soon thereafter, even so bonding closely with an intimacy only mates who trust each other completely have. Razeth found himself inseparable with Sarash, fully enjoying her company and companionship. He enjoys the light his mate’s silliness and jokes bring, and vowed to himself to do anything to protect her and her light. The Imperial also found himself silently liking the nickname ‘Razzy’, although Sarash, and only Sarash, would ever be permitted to use it.

Razeth settled down with his friend and mate in a Plague clan far in the territory, soon after finding a place in a Light clan to stay, content to live his life devoted to Sarash.
