"Be proud of yourself."

Fireflies
It was the night before the night. The food was ready, the den and it's surroundings were bathed in the soft light of various lanterns. Pillows were laid out around tables bursting with food. The only thing they missed was outfits. A flock of fireflies came buzzing about. Unlike the other insects the clan had not caught any of these for food. "Who are you expecting?" the fireflies wondered. "All the other, rarer breeds. We have to make everything pretty and perfect, as they stand above us in society." "But your heart is proud, you would make just as nice a party for a god or your own kin" the firefly didn't seemed puzzled over what it had just said, but Deron surely looked so. "Why do you say that?" and after a while, "But you are right, all breeds stand equal in abilities and beauty. It's the dragon within that counts."

The dragonfly darted back to it's swarm, just as 3 other glowing spots did the same. They then split into four big groups and surrounded each of the four dragons present. "You are strong" they said as they dances faster and faster around her. "You are a leader like the imperials" "and a dancer more then the skydancers" they continued speaking over and into each other "You are kind, but overwork yourself" "You need not worry, you will shine tonight" "As you have shone for us!" She felt something shift within her, as if burning heat and pure energy was pressed trough her from within to the skin. It didn't hurt, but it felt as if it was about to when it stopped. The night seemed lighter. She looked at her lair mates and stopped. Their bodies seemed to glow like the fireflies they had just been surrounded by. Thinking of them, she looked around and saw no insect at all. "Thank you, I'll be honest from now on" she whispered into the night.

The First Four Days
The first four races, the plentiful ones, once arranged a ball. Everyone expected the rare breeds like coatls or imperials to steal the show, but they didn't. When the four plentifu races entered the room the others fell silent. They were clad in gems, and their dark wings drew eyes as well as the light. Their gorgeous, matching tertiaries were stunning. They were admired.

The ball had been exciting, and the guests had enjoyed themselves. The food they had spent hours of gathering and preparing on had been greatly appreciated. When she finally retired for the night, with all lamps put out and all familiars in their proper places, she could finally huddle in between her best friends for a good night's sleep. When she lay down among the others, the closest drew one of her paws around himself and she was stuck as the gang's personal heater. They slept in a heap and left the rest of the cleanup till the morning.

History:
Deron was borne as a tundra with banana crystal, obsidian basic and obsidian okapi.

I bought her, and gave her butterfly for 1200 gems. I have no other gene plans for her, as I find her perfect.

Breeding pairs: "The First Four Days"

Together they cover the wheel of x/obs/obs and their genes will be crystal/x/okapi. They will always be XYY and triple gened.
