As a courier, it's Midori's duty to deliver messages to and from the clan. However, Midori is rather unmotivated. She's become quite practiced with finding ways to avoid a job, often tossing boring tasks into her fellow courier, Onyx. When she's needed, she often gets bribes for delivering messages, but it's usually exclusively for urgent matters. Midori is often relied on for such things due to the fact that she's the fastest in the clan and can get the job done quickly once sufficiently motivated via payment.

Originally, Midori came from a Light clan on the border of Water territory. She had plans for being the clans talent, having a love of singing that often went unrivaled. Things were going well for her, but the clan's luck seemed to reach its limit when a rogue thief broke into their lair. Intent on snatching up unhatched eggs, the thief quickly targeted the nursery. Midori, despite her lack of fighting prowess, was the only dragon available to stop the crime. She fought the drake and lost, the eggs being taken, her throat becoming injured and her singing being lost permanently.

Feeling as if she no longer belonged, Midori fled her clan. She sought out another place to call home; a place she could start anew.

In the Frozen-Sea Clan, she found she was a speedy flier. As such, she began her job as a courier. Her bubbly attitude is still present, although has soured considerably. After all, she really only needed a chipper attitude to keep hatchlings happy.
