Biography
 The Warmhearted Witch

Alwina Alwina was born into a Plague lair, and lived there as peacefully as one could in such a lair. Her clan had been tasked with rotting parts of the land around the borders of The Scarred Wasteland. On her first mission with her clanmates, she was dragged to a beautiful garden, stained red with dragonsblood from the battle to secure it. She snuck away from her clanmates and wept quietly at the destruction that took place in such a beautiful place. Fear of being branded a traitor by joining another flight stopped her from joining another one, so she wandered the land in fear of her former clanmates. One day she happened upon a small cove on the shore, full of life and nature. She settled her without issue for many days and nights. A band of mercenaries looking to conquer new lands found the cove. Alwina, tired of the destruction of nature, flung spells at the mercenaries in an attempt to ward them off from the land, but they came back day after day. They returned with a much larger force and overwhelmed Alwina, capturing her. As the mercenaries set up their camp, magic began flying towards them, wounding them and sending the whole group running. A member of a wandering witches coven had been watching Alwina, and when the trouble began and she defended nature, they had come to her aid. They inducted her into their ranks, and she travelled with them, learning about the witch ways. Although defending natural places made her happy, she found herself tired from the constant travelling, and the witch covens methods could be very violent at times. One day, after a long battle, she decided that she could no longer stand to fight. The witches respected her decision, but she was asked to leave the coven in good faith, and she did just that. She heard tale of a great and powerful dragon who had dedicated every ounce of his power to raising and protecting his garden. She followed the whispers until she came upon a scorched patch of earth, and she fell into despair, until a mirror told her what had happened. Airtongue, which was the name of this mirror, said that the dragon, and his garden, had been moved south, into the Southern Icefields. Alwina went with her and found a place where she is happy to help. She now helps Yael in his underground garden, but she has been seen leaving the lair on occasion, and when questioned about her whereabouts, she would simply state she was looking for somewhere beautiful. |
