HISTORY
From the deepest pits of the Blacksand Annex rose Prometheus. He clawed and clawed at the searing-hot rock, lifting himself from the lava that had stained his skin red. The rock burned his hands and melted his claws, but he never stopped climbing. It took him hours to reach the Molten Scar, completely burned and broken. He collapsed under a small outcrop, barely breathing.Prometheus was awoken by an unfamiliar face. A smaller dragon, adorned in ice and snow, stood before him. She opened her mouth and spoke in a garbled tongue. Prometheus squinted. Her words made sense, but just barely. At his feet, she placed a white rose. "Prim" she whispered. Prometheus nodded. The two walked for days across the expanse of the Ashfall Waste. Prometheus healed and became tough against the burning heat. Prim seemed unchanged, the snow and ice in her fur never melting. At the very edge of the region, they came across a small burrow. The two dug the hole wider and shimmied into the dirt and pumice. Inside the ground was a family of pocket mice guarding a map. Prim pulled the map out of the ground and studied it for a moment. “Paradise.” She whispered. “This is where we must go.” After leaving the Ashfall Waste, the two reached the Shifting Expanse. It was there that they found a cave overlooking the ocean, filled with gems and precious stones. PERSONALITY
Prometheus is hardened by the heat he endured in his time traversing the Molten Scar. Although his four children all left the clan to serve higher powers, it does not faze him in the slightest. The only thing he appears to care about is Prim, his doting mate.Although he has a tougher exterior, he secretly sits at night waiting for everyone to sleep so he can doze off as well. He makes sure the perimeter of the cave is clear and that everyone has been able to fall asleep with no worries. Sometimes, Prim comes and sits with him. Talking to him is no easy feat. Much like Prim, he is a dragon of fewer words, however for him it is by choice. Most of the dragons in the clan will outright avoid trying having a conversation with him, however his royal circle tends to converse with him relatively easily, especially Centauri. ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ |
