The Blazing


Kvika was fostered by Mauna Kea and Eyjafjallajokull. Her own family were at the time from the Molten Scar, whereas her foster parents were travellers and of a lower status: her foster-father was not even a Fire dragon. Her fostering brought honour and status to her foster-parents, but as Kvika came to them so young, she barely remembers her blood-family and considers her bond with Mauna Kea and Eyjafjallajokull stronger than the bonds of blood.

She was trained in the arts of war by both Mauna Kea and Eyjafjallajokull and taught the ways of battle and honour. She believe in her own code of honour and will stick by it regardless of what others think or do.


Kvika's rock-like skin is actually covered in painless cracks which show the magma flowing beneath. When angered or during the heat of battle, her skin also superheats and turns to molten magma.

Shortly after {the 4th Anniversary} a Cinder Nymph started following Kvika around. It collects cinders for both Kvika and Eisa, apparently not bothered by the fact that Kvika doesn't want them. It has been spotted seeping oil for Eisa's Fire Sprite, which the Sprite then sets alight, and then they both cackle wildly and dance around in the flames holding hands, having an absolutely spectacular time. It is very dubious of Jorsalafar himself, but gets on well with his Golem.

Joined the Flamecaller during the Flameforger's Festival 2015

Obsidian Kvika represented the Arcane Flight in the Great Flameforge Joust 2015. In the first round, she faced Flourish of Clan Morningstar, one of the representatives of Light. Unfortunately her obsidian lance failed her: it shattered against his crystal hide. However, Flourish went on to take first place in the tournament, and Kvika is content in the knowledge that she lost to the Champion of the Joust: as such, there was no shame in her defeat.
