One third of the main battle team, where he acts as the speedster and the slasher. His fighting partners (and best friends) are DirkHardpec and Heartmuncher. He also helps Dirk with training any dragons who come to the clan the hopes of being exalted to the Arcanist.

Daenero loves his wife Amethyst very, very much, and will not take any disparaging comments about her lightly. They have many children, and he dotes over every last one of them. While some of the grown-up hatchlings have moved on to other clans, most have gone on to serve the Arcanist. Daenero has mixed feelings about exaltation, but he is proud of his children nonetheless.
