Sakura was born into the clan when they were near the border of Arcane and Plague. Magic tends to run a little more wild there, and she often wondered if that was the cause of her appearance. That said, her parents- and the rest of the clan- did not care about her condition once they were sure it was not malignant. Sakura had a happy childhood, and joined her brother Arcanum in his magical studies.

While Arcanum focused more on his devotion to the Arcanist, Sakura learned more practical aspects of magic. Sakura's talents got the attention of Heartmuncher, and the matriarch took the young Spiral under her wing. Her knack for strategy and Sakura's tendency to find excellent new clanmates has earned her the title of Second in Command. Sakura and Heartmuncher are often the first two dragons of the clan to great visitors- assuming Sakura isn't the one to bring them in!

One dragon brought in by Sakura was Blinky. Sakura found him on the Arcane/Plague border while she was running an errand for Heartmuncher. They were excited to find another dragon like themselves, and decided to travel together for a while. The two became fast friends. Blinky ended up following Sakura home, and now they are happily mated.
