Buttercup is a botanist who enjoys mountain climbing. She is a good pilot, but says climbing is more of a challenge. She collects rare plants and bring them home to Pearl on her back. Together they categorize, examine and log the plants before Pearl expands her ever growing garden to make room for the new plants. She looks very young despite being very old, and seems extremely happy about it. Seeeing new places and plants must be keeping her young!
