Jinok leads the clan through trust and respect. She's always open to suggestions on how things should be done and values camaraderie and cooperation.

She enjoys reading and sketching, and she loves a good cup of tea, which she offers to all of her visitors. She cannot stand wasps.


Jinok left her hatch clan in the Viridian Labyrinth to begin her Search. She headed west into Dragonhome, feeling somewhat drawn towards the rocky landscape. Finding nothing there, she travelled on to the Starfall Isles. There she met a Fae named Illicium, who was visiting his ancestral home on a journey of his own. They quickly became friends and Illicium decided to accompany her on her Search.

Together, Jinok and Illicium travelled on through all the elemental regions, even paying a brief visit to the Scarred Wasteland (though Jinok was sure her place was not amongst the Plaguebringer's children she wished to be thorough). And still she did not feel drawn towards anything or anywhere else.

Feeling disheartened by her lack of success, she would have despaired if not for Illicium. His faith that she would find her Charge never wavered, and he would perform one of his beautiful dances for her to cheer her up whenever she felt down.

All throughout her Search, Jinok constantly felt drawn towards the Viridian Labyrinth. Eventually her long journey led her back to the land of her hatching, and she felt something relax deep inside. This was where she belonged.

Jinok and Illicium decided to start a clan of their own and settled down in a quiet, mossy glen on the boarder between the Shrieking Wilds and the Gladeveins. After carving out the beginnings of their lair, Jinok took a walk through the Everbloom Garden and stumbled upon a Tundra suffering from heat exhaustion.

She quickly carried him over to the Gladeveins and dunked him into a shaded, shallow pool. She remained with him for the rest of the day, carefully keeping him cool and hydrated. As she lay there, propping him up so he wouldn't drown, she knew deep down inside that her Search had ended. When temperatures cooled as evening approached, she took him back to the lair.

Meredith recovered quickly under her care. As she got to know him better, she found herself falling in love with him. Jinok was hesitant about telling him of her feelings. Many dragons felt stifled being a Guardian's Charge and she feared he would think her interest stemmed from that rather than genuine love and desire.

She went to Illicium for advice after dancing around the issue for days. He told her to stop worrying so much and go for it. Jinok plucked up all the courage she had and confessed to Meredith. To her delight, he had feelings for her too. After a long discussion on what they expected from one another, they entered into a relationship and have been mates ever since.
