Spyro is a little rascal. But, he is also one of the bravest dragons in the Forgotten Clan. If Nightscreech is unavailable for whatever reason, Spyro will usurp him and charge into the offending dragons without hesitation. It never hurts the attacked dragons, but it certainly gains their immediate attention. His parents had always been outsiders in the clan, until the fateful day they chose to leave and become warriors for the Shadowbinder herself. Spyro, on the other hand, is more than content with his life in the wild and unruly Forgotten Clan, with no intentions of straying away from them. He is seen as a brave little fighter, willing to defend others when necessary. It is safe to assume that Tropicah sees the little dragon as his rival, with him being the only other eternally youthful dragon in the clan. However, the circumstances for their youth are drastic. Whereas Tropicah received eternal youth as punishment for his previous evil ways, Spyro received it as a gift from Temporal (after much begging shortly after he matured into an adult). When he arrived in the clan, most of the familiars had been chosen and assigned dragon companions. One of the few that was left was a Tatterwing Carcass, who joined at around the same time that Spyro was born. The two initially did not find each other amiable, with the Tatterwing pecking at his crimson wings and Spyro blowing small streams of intense fire towards his skeletal body in retaliation. Gradually, they came to enjoy this strange way of approaching one another, and the two became best friends.... Well, sort of. The Tatterwing becomes very jealous when Spyro is around his good friend, Pumpkaboo. |
