Shadow Ambassador | Warrior | Wizard

Back Story and Family

My parents Iris and Thanatos fought together. They were an amazing pair. They took down beastclans, and sometimes other dragons. My mother Iris was a physical fighter. She was fast and agile. Thanatos was a mage. From Iris I learned to always be alert. As she was fond of saying, "To be caught by surprise is to be dead." From Thanatos I learned to trust no one and nothing. Anything can be faked. Their advice has always kept me alive, but it also made me hesitant. I second-guess the world around me and my own actions, so I end up never doing anything.

After months of deliberation, I left my home clan. In my old clan, I lived in my parents' shadow. I wanted to be my own person and make a name for myself. I decided I would become a Shadow ambassador, not just a warrior and a mage. I traveled through the Tangled Wood, learning the lore of the Shadowbinder. I met my familiar there. Bramble was a truly wild creature, but he seemed to like my company. We traveled years together before I worked up the courage to name him. Bramble didn't seem to mind at that point.

I traveled through Earth Territory, and at last found a new clan in the Starfall Isles. The Dragons of the Amethyst Scale were looking for a Shadow ambassador, and I gladly accepted the position, and I have been living here to this day. I'm one of the clan's best fighters and mages, and I fulfill my role as Shadow ambassador. Of course, some of the clan think Shadow magic is evil and don't trust me. They think Shadow is the same as Shade. There's a world of difference between Shadow magic and the Shade, but I admit that Shadow magic has its darker side. Either way, you should never trust anyone.

Perhaps you'd think it the other way but - really it's quite tragic - how
Everyone is the same these days, giving people labels
Red for girls and blue for boys, as if they are not able, to
Identify as something else, to break free from the norm
As I sit here wearing purple
"Like a lady" my blood turns rather warm.
