Biography
Scribe and Lore Keeper of the clan. With Icarus' and Myfi's permission, she is recording the history of the tower and clan Satinalis- adding to it whenever needed.
The Tower had sustained a lot of damage over the years.
Very few books within its vast library hold the same meticulous records that had been kept of its original inhabitants. Such records have been lost over time. Instead, knowledge of the tower’s story has been passed down through oral story, song, and legend, in addition to the few yellow-paged books which remain.
In spite of this, some basic knowledge is known about the tower.
~
Deep within the Tangled Woods, the tower stood empty for centuries- even now, it’s not certain what the tower was built for or who inhabited it. That is, until a traveling spiral astronomer stumbled upon it. This unknown dragon- along with other followers of The Arcanist, joined forces in order to oversee its refurbishment, which was done through magic. It was designed as an institution of free learning, where any dragon willing to master the cosmos could thrive, pursuing their passions.
~
The Overseer of the tower is given an enormous responsibility in the form of an enchanted book. It is kept with this chosen dragon at all times, for it could lead to the destruction of the tower itself. With permission- Dragons can write in the book in order to modify nearly any facet of the tower, including its furniture, the designs of rooms, the number of rooms, and the designated purpose of each room.
Laced with powerful enchantments warding off harm from other dragons and filled to the brim with Arcane influence, it was only a matter of time before the tower became a safe haven for magic users of all kinds. Hatchlings are given intense instructions from an early age in how to wield magic, astronomy, and alchemy, then later on in their adolescent years they are allowed to choose the path they wish to take for even further study.
The tower is not just a house of magical and scientific endeavors, however. The arts flourish within its domain. Brilliant architects designed it in the first place, and continue to write descriptions of gorgeous rooms in the book’s pages. Troupes-in-training are allowed to perform fluid dances and elaborate plays within the tower’s theatre, and masters put on regular performances in order to bring together dragons who would otherwise be locked away studying.
Currently- the Tower, along with Clan Satinalis is managed by Icarus- the clan patriarch, and his second-in-command and mate, Myfi. The two are compassionate and impartial, and together possess the qualities of great rulers.
