Lore ideas:
- Was left by his parents and clan as a newborn hatchling due to his strange "birthmark", found and taken care of by traveling dragons (maybe my traveling merchants?) and taken to Emberstone. He was found in the Snowsquall Tundra in the ice flight territory.
- Some of the great healers and scholars of the lair is helping him figure out what the birthmark is, it doesn't seem to affect his immune system or general health, but they are monitoring the growth of it closely. First theory was that it was a type of gembond, but the type of gems and placement and growth suggests that it's not.
- When he was found he had a cluster of small ones on his right shoulder, and a few under his right eye. By the time he grew into an adult most of his shoulder was covered with it (and it's starting to spread to his right wing), his left hind leg (starting to spread to tail) and most of the right side of his face. The biggest ones are on his shoulder.
