B I O G R A P H Y

Fiore had no memory of her parents, she wasn’t even sure they even existed in the first place. She did remember, however, the day she met her mate. She first saw him tangled in a thorn bush, cursing the Shadowbinder for having such rough terrain. The two decided to pair up, after all, two heads are better than one. Soon after, they discovered the Grotto the clan calls home today. The unusual pair settled there, a few dragons joining them after.

Soon, Fiore and Isaki had their first clutch, a boy and girl. They named the two Tsume and Vendetta, and life seemed to be going good. But that happiness was not meant to last. While Fiore cared for their older children, as well as a new addition, Lapis, Isaki began to see visions of the Shadowbinder in his dreams, calling him to her service. Fiore begged her mate not to leave, in fear of forgetting him. But her cries would not sway her love, and she awoke one day to find him gone from the Grotto.

Fiore mourned for days, clutching her mate’s belongings in hopes to keep his scent with her for as long as she could. The state of her children spiraled her into a deep depression, her mate was gone without a word, her eldest daughter had vowed to fight her father one day, her eldest son was trying to distance himself from the clan entirely, and her youngest daughter had to grow up too fast, cuts and bruises lining her weak and fragile form. Most of Fiore’s duties as clan leader were now being performed by her friend Namin. As the days passed, slowly and surely, Fiore began to forget her mate, until she could no longer remember his face. All she was left with was a strange scent she couldn’t quite place.

B I O G R A P H Y

It took a long time, but soon Fiore resumed her clan duties, forgetting the mate she held so dear, as well as watching her children grow up without a father. Many moons later, a strange Pearlcatcher came to the clan, and after seeing the clan had no defenses, vowed to establish a guard. Fiore was hesitant at first, her clan was supposed to be peaceful, why would she need a guard? But as she spent more time with the pearlcatcher, who she learned was named Stockings, she began to develop feelings towards him. Eventually, the two became mates. Two two had one child together, the clan’s medic, Bokuta.

Time passed, and a strange newcomer once again joined the clan. Fiore seemed to recognize his scent, and it came rushing back to her when the stranger removed his helmet. It was her mate, Isaki. How could she forget? How could she not remember her love, the father of her children, the one she had mourned for so long? She rushed to him and would not let him go for hours afterwards. Thankfully, this did not dampen her relationship with her current mate Stockings, the three found they had feelings for each other, and are now currently in a polyamorous relationship.

Fiore is a very quiet dragon. Despite being in charge, she is very friendly and welcoming to everyone, and believes there is good in everyone. She is well respected among the clan, and acts like a mother to everyone. She is very loving and affectionate, and if she becomes depressed, it is hard for her to bounce back and takes a long while for her to recover. Outside of family and mates, Fiore is very close with Sycamore and Namine, the two dragons who have been with the clan the longest. She regards them as godparents to her children and trusts them the most.
