Entarge
Clan founder, powerful magician and occasional creepy scientist

Since Entarge is the founder of the clan, he's often expected to be a pinnacle of wisdom and an excellent guide for most dragons. In fact, he is not like that at all, and this is noticeable upon meeting him for the first time. He often acts aloof and always looks like his mind is somewhere else. He's not very expressive even for the Faes' standards: he barely moves his crests and this led him to not have many friends overall.
Entarge's biggest passion is magic, more specifically transformation magic. He believes that the magic that is able to affect a dragon's appearance and nature is the most fascinating of all, and this led him to experiment a lot about it. If a dragon in the lair acquires a new gene, suddenly changes breed, or changes colors, that's most probably Entarge's doing - sometimes without them really having a say about it. The dragon who had the most work done, however, is Entarge himself. Most of the dragons in the lair don't know about it, but Entarge has been every single breed in existence at least once, all for the sake of learning first-hand how it feels. The colors of his body also changed multiple times, and he dressed different camouflages for his skin. Sometimes even the other dragons in the clan find it hard to identify him, especially during times when he's been experimenting a lot.

Entarge has no clear memory of how he came to be, nor does he have memories of his own childhood. All he knows is that he found himself wandering about on the Crystalspine Reaches when he was already an adult, along with Tafeirinmen, with a single task already present in his mind: the duty to form a new Clan.
With such a beginning, Entarge couldn't find in himself the determination to follow that order. With the help of his most important friend he was able to gather many dragons together, but he was never fit to be a good leader, so the Clan under his rule didn't have any specific direction: each member followed their dreams and ambitions freely, with just a few dragons being concerned about the Clan's safety enough to establish some internal regulations and roles.
When Entarge was finally deemed unfit for his role and the Clan felt the need to establish a stronger leadership, the Fae couldn't be more willing to leave the leadership to Tafeirinmen and other dragons in the clan. That was the first time he felt he did something truly meaningful for his newfound family: watching over them and being there for them when it was needed was easier and better for him than playing the role of the unreliable leader.
The failure of the Quadrumviratum, later on, made Entarge understand better his position. He understood that, while he was not the Leader anymore, he was still kept in high regard as the one and only founder of the clan, which attributed to him a responsibility he would never be able to shake off. He became more cautious with both his words and his decisions, payed closer attention to the multiple dragons in the lair and their needs. He was still mostly focused on his studies and experiments, but he was not as isolated any longer.
When Fereneel offered, Entarge accepted his role as ambassador. Being allowed to travel back to the Starfall Isles was a relief he didn't know he needed, and he also felt more connected to the rest of the clan as a whole - although, to be fair, Pansidus is usually the one who does the talking.
