Arch
Archbishop
Full support “Placeholder” ― Placeholder Arch is an outgoing archbishop and is the one to support the party. Despite being built for complete support, that doesn't mean he doesn't have any offensive capabilities; he's got a bit of physical strength to him due to being in a small, main party of three including himself. Arch's also fairly quick so he doesn't die from stray monsters. The archbishop is pretty cheerful and enjoys seeing others smile. One day, Arch heard of a warlock who often frequented bars for numerous one night stands, so he wanted to see for himself. When he managed to lay eyes on the warlock, the archbishop fell quickly in love, but he'd heard the guy would refuse all dates, yet he wanted to try anyway. Of course, when Arch told the warlock, whom he found was named Kaiser, his affection was immediately dismissed. Pleading, he wanted the two to have a chance, and Arch promised that he would show how much he would love Kaiser. Skeptical, the warlock gave Arch a chance (after a quick session in bed), only to discover that the archbishop would need to leave for a week. Arch promised that even though he wouldn't be there for awhile, he would send a letter each day until he came back. He was determined to prove he truly cared for the warlock. Kaiser remained doubtful; after all, the two hardly knew each other. Still, wouldn't hurt to try, he supposed. When Arch left, he sent a letter back before even an hour had passed. He confessed that even if he failed, he hoped the two could at least be friends. After that, day after day, Arch sent a letter back and a gift with his words. He wrote about himself, he wrote about the party he was with, he wrote about the monsters they encountered, he wrote about how much he wanted to be with Kaiser, how he wanted to love him dearly and forever. There was some deep warmth inside of Arch that he wanted to bring out and give to the warlock. He wanted to love and cherish the man, to bring him happiness and laughter. The archbishop didn't even know if they were compatible, and he prayed to Odin that they were. It turned out the two were. Kaiser couldn't help but feel delighted at Arch. He never had someone be so passionate to him, not in this way. Sure, the warlock had plenty of people confess to him, but honestly? They all left. That was what Kaiser didn't like. Others would tell him how much they loved him, but in the end? They would eventually leave. He distrusted anyone who would confess their love. After all, they'd be gone the next day. Not Arch. He came back and didn't want to leave. There was something honest and passionate about him, the way he visited Kaiser each day, the way he brought a little gift, the chats they had, the lunches they ate together. Everything made the warlock feel... happy. He felt as if Arch was truly honest, and the archbishop was, so Kaiser eventually fell in love with someone who loved him back. The two loved each other deeply. Even when it turned out Arch also enjoyed teasing Kaiser plenty, making the warlock flustered, the two were passionate for each other. It would be a happy life for the both of them. Quote:
