There are few things more beautiful than an autumn sunset. The time when the air is crisp and cool but the sun is still warm, when the colors of the trees match the colors of the sky, when the blue lifts away to reveal violets and oranges and golds. The time of harvest and preparation for winter, but also the time of relaxation after the hard work of summer. The time of feasts and sunflowers and celebration. Within that time, those brief moments, lives Solis, the god of autumn sunsets.

Solis is a minor deity created by the Windsinger. He is above mortals yet below the Eleven, and only appears to mortals in those weeks of autumn, in the form of a fae, his hide colored like the setting sun. He is most often seen on feast days, welcomed to the table despite his unfamiliar face, for in the Windsinger's domain, it's lucky to invite strangers to one's table.

Solis is not a popular god, worshiped by artists and dreamers, much like his sister Astrum. They can appreciate the beauty of the setting sun. Farmers also pray to him for a good harvest. His sacred items are sunflowers and glass beads in gold and orange and violet. His little shrine is near the farms, not far from his brother's. He and his brother's gifts to mortals go hand in hand, and as such their followers often worship both.
