The Defiant
Clan Founder

"I am the sandy ground underfoot, I am the dry air. I am the Crack of Lightning and the Roar of Thunder. I am the sweat, the breath, the blood. The Swarm is me, and I am the Swarm."

Defiance, along with her mate, Goldwing, are the clan founders. They were born of the lightning, and ran within a large Mirror pack before they broke off to find a place to settle down for the breeding season. Their quest for a mating ground was interrupted by running into and fighting with Faedril, a lost Wildclaw. Before the confrontation, neither Mirror had a personal identity; they were both part of their pack, the Swarm. The confrontation allowed the pair to identify themselves personally, and to form a lair to be a home. They never returned to their pack, but they do still run together, racing across the Shifting Expanse with no destination in mind. Because of their random excursions, they are not fit to lead the clan, although are still noted as being the founders, and their opinion is respected.
Defiance is a fierce, fight-first-talk-later kind of girl. She loves to run and charge headlong into every situation, confident in her mate being right behind her. She fights to defend her clan she founded, and enjoys the community. Although sometimes she misses the Swarm, she wouldn't trade her new pack for the world.

Defiance's lab is relatively quiet, compared to most others. She prefers tooth and claw over tech and magic, but she loves to tinker with enhancements. She also longs to discover a way to keep the sand and dust from jamming up the battle armor.

Defiance is well known throughout the clan, and has pretty sound relationships with almost everyone. She is a little closer with her other fighters, as they are often together exploring, defending the clan, or off gathering different resources together. Defiance is often more dedicated to her new pack of mirrors, often running and hunting alongside them across the expanse. A few are pretty much feral, and don't like the other members of the dragon clan, so she does her best to keep them separate. While the protection of the clan is nice, so is the open air of the expanse.
