Goldwing

The Resistant
Clan Founder

"I am the sandy ground underfoot, I am the dry air. I am the Crack of Lightning and the Roar of Thunder. I am the sweat, the breath, the blood. The Swarm is me, and I am the Swarm."

Goldwing, along with his mate, Defiance, are the clan founders. They were born of the lightning, and ran within a large Mirror pack before they broke off to find a place to settle down for the breeding season. Their quest for a mating ground was interrupted by running into and fighting with Faedril, a lost Wildclaw. Before the confrontation, neither Mirror had a personal identity; they were both part of their pack, the Swarm. The confrontation allowed the pair to identify themselves personally, and to form a lair to be a home. They never returned to their pack, but they do still run together, racing across the Shifting Expanse with no destination in mind. Because of their random excursions, they are not fit to lead the clan, although are still noted as being the founders, and their opinion is respected.

Goldwing isn't much of a talker, and rarely speaks other than the raw feral sounds used to communicate throughout the Mirror swarm. He isn't very friendly with the other dragons in the clan, rarely entering into the tunnel systems the rest of the clan calls home. Goldwing is also very suspicious and uneasy around new arrivals. He's either shadowing behind them or keeping a close watch over the eggs and nesting grounds. He's very protective over the nesting grounds. So much so that some of the parents feel like the eggs they're laying aren't really theirs anymore...

DEFIANCE

Defiance is the leader of the pack. She's fierce, but also one of the most level-headed. She's able to communicate with the rest of the dragons of the lair, and strike up an alliance between the lair-dwellers and the mirror pack.

GOLDWING

Goldwing is Defiance's mate, and a well-trusted member of the pack.

NIFTY

Nifty is one of the top hunters of the pack, and has earned her way up the ranks to Defiance's second in command.

KITSCHE

Kitsche is another fierce hunter in the pack. He respects the chain of command, waiting fervently for the moment he's allowed to let loose and go crazy.

DEVON

Devon really isn't suited much for pack life, but he does find some moments he enjoys. He much prefers to stay at the lair and practice his music or poetry, but running wild with the rest of the mirrors once and a while is a great way to let off steam.

WISP

Wisp is a talented hunter, although she prefers to use sneak up on her prey rather than run it down. Loyal to her mate Phantom

DREEG

Dreeg acts as the pack's secondary eyes and ears. And mouth, in a sense. She uses her magic to guide the pack to their next target, and her hunting songs to keep the pack in order when they're spread out across the expanse. Devon is trying to teach her to use her voice not just for hunting.

PHANTOM

Phantom is probably the most feral of the pack members. He is loyal to his mate, Wisp, and he respects the veterans of the pack, but he refuses to communicate with the lair dragons. He's a pack mirror, and that's it.

NAEMIRA

Naemira is a fierce hunter of the pack, and basically Nifty's understudy. The two are often sparring and training together, teaching eachother tricks and practicing new fighting techniques. Naemira's unhinged ferocity reigned in by Nifty's careful guidance.

BAPHET

Baphet is a fiery-tempered and cruel hunter of the pack, who never hesitates to burn her prey to a crisp and follow up with her teeth and claws. She is brutal and unforgiving, but will show mercy to those who earn her respect. Or those who suck up to her vain nature.

JERICHO

Jericho uses his superior size and strength to earn his place as a higher ranking member of the pack, and continues to push himself to get faster and fiercer.

UGLY

Ugly isn't a real member of the pack yet, but some of the quieter members of the pack are trying to reach out to him. He is distrusting and nervous, and his poor eyesight makes contact difficult.

RODENT

Rodent has the deftest hands of all the pack, save for maybe Devon. She used to be a common thief, but has since changed to a brutal archer in the backlines of the pack. One of the few mirrors who prefers to move bipedal, and is deadly with her arrows.

SPRIMKEL

Ranibow Sprimkel is one of the most lighthearted members of the pack, often not taking anything seriously. Although, he's also the biggest dragon of the pack, and his large fans are very helpful in intimidation. He uses this to his advantage, often using his sheer size to get his way and not have to take anything seriously.

FEEDERDOG

Feederdog is a tailbiter among the pack. Her sharp sense of smell is her proudest point, but she also is pretty decent with magic, too. But she prefers to cover the pack's back rather than forge ahead into fights.

BEAD

Bead is clever and curious, and while she may not be the most aggressive member of the pack, she loves to explore the land as she runs with the other mirrors. And while she may not have the sharpest fangs or sharpest claws, she's still a beloved member of the pack.
