Widget resides in the third largest and second deepest chamber of the lair, where nothing but the sounds of machinery and electrical gizmos are heard. He oversees that the power functions throughout the clan, providing his own electrical magic to keep things safe. He's not exactly ostracized by the clan, but he is rather isolated from them. Widget mainly keeps to himself and the machinery, but is occasionally called upon to tunnel more room into the lair.

Widget does care for the clan members, but he is also a bit concerned how many of them live underground completely oblivious to the technological wonders required to keep the lifestyle alive. Sure, the underground garden is cool, but keeping the temperature stable? Keeping the ambient static of the desert away from the sensitive plantlife, channeling the lightning from the storms; all stuff Widget takes care of. Luckily, a few clan members have started to take more notice of the technology in the lair, and have taken to helping Widget out. Others are more interesting in their own projects, but he's willing to help with those, too. Cherish and Komea tend to spend the most time in the workshop, but it's common to see Squall and Elsie drop in on occasion as well. Sometimes even Defiance will pop in, but she tends to be busy with the pack.
