A god of wealth, grandeur, royalty, empires, and, in the mythos of some flights, greed. Flavius is generally depicted as a regal, august mythological character, holding great power in the draconic pantheon and (in some cases) ruling other gods as a divine emperor of sorts. General draconic mythology portrays Flavius as the overseer of all gold circulating throughout the world, as well as a patron of leaders and the kingdoms they reign over. Kings and emperors throughout the elemental regions typically sacrifice to him routinely to remain in his favour.
Flavius also maintains a reputation of avarice in the legends of certain flights, most notably those of Light and Fire. Stories abound of Flavius' near-destruction of powerful kingdoms merely to receive the offerings of gold that would be bestowed upon him to rekindle his favor. These flights also describe him as heading the empyreal treasury and refusing to distribute its contents, wishing instead to keep and spend them for himself.
Flavius has a week-long festival held in his honor in the month of August, during which dragons are given free rein to spend excessively and indulge in any pleasures they so desire. Rulers do not usually take part in these festivities, instead preferring to dedicate this time to campaigning and/or dedicating offerings or sacrifices to Flavius. Leaders who do not do so often find their kingdoms and empires falling into rapid decline not long after the end of the festival...

Each flight has their own story, but there’s one story that they all know.
Flavius is unlike other dragon gods, instead of being the god of a single element, he is the god of wealth and royalty. Treasure has gone missing in all the dens of dragons who dares to make him cross.
He is the divine being in the sky, and in some tales, he rules over the other 11 gods of Sornieth and even helping them resolve conflicts if they get too out of hand.
Some dragons don’t believe these stories, believing them all to be tall tales, but they’re all true, for in the Month of August, a festival is held in his honour, where dragons can spend as much treasure as they desire and not worry about consequences, and those who do not appease Flavius will soon find that their Treasure and Gems will disappear without a trace soon after the event concludes.
There once was a story, written in times of old, about an all-powerful dragon who helped Sornieth when there was very little treasure. No one is 100% sure, but most can agree that it is about Flavius:
”Once upon a time, long ago,
The world was poor, with very little treasure.
Until one day, a brave dragon knew
exactly what he needed to do.
He gathered as much treasure he could, in a single bag, then he
dragged it all across the land.
Finally, he reached a special mountaintop.
Then another dragon quickly yelled ‘stop!’
‘What are you doing, on my mountain?
it’s very cold here, you better scram!’
The first dragon said, ‘I’ve come to ask you to help us, you see, the world below, is very poor.’
‘Poor you say?’ The other dragon replied. ‘That isn’t right!’ He says as he takes to the skies. He effortlessly grabbed the heavy bag of treasure and took it to who knows where, but he made treasure treasure rain for the skies, all of Sornieth rejoiced, to thank the special dragon who caused that, they created a holiday in August where they pay tribute to the dragon that made treasure rain from the sky.”
There is one final story to discuss: There have even been rumours that Flavius is with us now, hiding in plain sight as a common dragon. Because of that, some dragons make sure to treat odd strangers with respect, just in case.
