They do not see her often.

She is a spirit. A representation of the forest they live in. They know better than to sully her name. They know better than to harm her forest. For what is given, they give thanks in return. And when they had proven their worth, she had settled with their clan.

Still, she comes and goes. For she is a spirit of the forest, and she must watch her trees and her creatures to make sure they are safe. She must lead those who get lost within her winding paths, and she must get rid of those who dare to harm her roots.
But she always returns.
