Founder of the original clan back on the Windswept Plateau
Once a Guardian and still views the clan as her charge
Values freedom—the freedom to choose and the freedom to travel; those who choose to leave the clan go with her blessing
Helps train those who wish to serve a deity, though much of this work has been left to Giles in recent days

HISTORY

Originally founded on the Windswept Plateau by Valeria
Moved to the Sunbeam Ruins and back, then to the Scarred Wasteland and back to the Sunbeam Ruins where it currently resides
In this most recent move to the Sunbeam Ruins, only Giles and Luce moved on with Valeria
- Giles remained to help Valeria train any future clan members who wished to be exalted; the two grew closer
- Luce was attached to Giles and Valeria in a daughterly way and also remained to help handle funds

THE CAFE

The three came across an abandoned book shop and cafe named Off the Shelf in Laternlea Port
Some arcane force made the store’s interior much larger than its exterior implied
The dusty shelves were filled with books; legible copies spawned dragons when removed from the shelves
- These dragons can be found in the Off the Shelf tab of the lair
- There's also a notable multi-edition collection of limericks whose dragons, from my breed out the basic challenge, can be found here
Neither the trio nor the stories-turned-dragons understood the magic of the place
Luce identified specifically Arcane magic but no other details
The trio discovered tablets in the backroom, engraved with runes that none of them could decipher
Along with the tablets were receipts and financial records that manifested dragons, similar to the books
- These dragons, the Crystals, can be found here
There was no evidence as to why the cafe was abandoned, who previously owned it, or who built it
Valeria took the cafe and its story-dragons as her charge
Luce’s financial acumen led the trio to reopen the cafe to allow the story-dragons to thrive and potentially uncover the mystery of the cafe
