Cinnamon
She was on the island long before the council ever decided to make a home here. Some say she's native but her eyes tell a different story.
She was once a thief that worked with a gang of other like minded dragons. She had the power to calm uneasy minds making them easy targets. The gang had their eyes on the largest mark they had ever seen in their territory. They decided to hit them in the middle of the largest storm that season. Unfortunately, the caravan was made up of the Icewardens' stewards. Many got away but she was caught and dragged to court.
She was asleep in the ice for who knows how long. She awoke to explosions in the prison and the ice that once covered her was now melting. She clawed herself out then helped those that were still trapped around her. The groups of dragons split up into groups to find their way out. Her group wandered the twisting halls avoiding the guards who were trying to round up escapees and find where the explosions came from. They finally found their opening and burst like bats out of hell until they reached the ocean. A few dragons broke off from the group to go back to their homes, others broke off to start new lives in the Ashfall Wastes.
The ones that stayed with her made it all the way to the Sea of a Thousand Currents and a small barren island they decided to call home. They made use of the native plant and animal life for food and stayed hidden from strangers who would wander onto the island in fear that they were bounty hunters. The population of the group was already dwindling by the time the Council moved to the caves under the island. A strange group of dragons who they could only get glimpses of scared lots of the nervous dragons and they began to scatter. Soon she was the only one of a handful left. Her ragtag family was torn apart again and again. She is stronger than most and refuses to let this stop her from finding happiness.
