During her youth Silurian travelled the world, seeing much of all eleven Flights. It was not so much for adventure as it was to see what there was out there, for the world was an amazingly large and mysterious place. As she grew older Silurian found herself fascinated by the more enduring things, mountains, the constant stars above, the ground beneath her feet. She often stops to wonder about the countless dragons in ages past who have walked down the same weathered trails that she follows, what their stories may have been, what they saw when the world was young. Because of her fascination with the past and the constants of the world she finds most other dragons to be too preoccupied with fleeting trivialities and the ephemeral details of day to say life. She much prefers to look at the bigger picture and consider things in the long term. As such she knows that when she finds a home it will be forever. Her fondness of permanence does not mean that she is opposed to change though, for the stars dance in a slow circle across the sky and even the mountains and the great rivers that flow down from them change with time. If the companion she chooses were to decide to move their clan she would gladly follow, possibly even offering to lead the way. She has seen much during her life and with all the places she has been to it is likely that anywhere her companion might take her is a place she has been at least once before. That said, she does have a certain fondness for Dragonhome, where she was born, and the Sea of a Thousand Currents holds a special place in her heart, for that was where she met her first mate and raised a family in the distant past. If she were to get the chance to travel to either of those places again she would be delighted, though she is not opposed to making new memories in a new place. Served as an Earth representative in Poisonedpaper's clan, but retired when an older representative showed up. Re-homed through the ORC. |
