In the beginning he was a dragon with no true name.

Affectionately called Prince by his friends and family, he is the son of the leaders of the Singing Spires Weyr. But what is in a name? In the Singing Spires, there is much. Much to a name, much to one that is granted.

Many come to the Weyr with another name, and until the energies of the Arcane Wind and Ice accept them, they keep that name. However, being born to that energy is an entire thing unto itself. Many are born knowing what they are named, ready to face the world. They know they must choose a companion, and find a life partner. Some though, are destined for greater things. They remain nameless.

Until thier task has come and thier purpose realized, they remain nameless.

For Prince it has been a hardship. Being the son of the two great leaders and living a nameless life has been no easy thing. No matter what task he does, that precious syllables have yet to bubble forth to his lips, to blossom into who he is.

Prince has journeyed far and wide along with his nameless sister, the pair of them working together for the clans. They go off to battle, to become strong. They seek items the clan needs and often find them in odd places. A few times the two have even brought other dragons who have been accepted into the Singing Spires. No born nameless has lasted so long within the clan as these two.

Yet it has a toll. Prince is a tired dragon. Tired of running from a life where he cannot yet be accepted. Tired of helping others find life while he lives on the fringes. Tired of not having a love and life and chance for a nest and mate of his own. He has a heavy heart somedays after such a long time soent searching. It would be akin to a guardian who never finished their search.

In personality he is sad yes. Quiet, reserved. Sometimes even seen as aloof in manner. However, do not think to mistake him for unemotional. Still waters run deep and like his father who is much the same, Princes emotions are one of the strongest things about him. He is stubborn and full of steel, but also gentle. This combination has saved many lives both draconic and companion. He's indiscriminate, seeing worth on the inside, not just pretty faces. Protective of friends and family, Prince lets no harm come to those in his care.

His major flaw though is his internal conflict and hate for himself. He has a terrible time seeing his own worth because of not finding his name. Is he unworthy of fully belonging to the Weyr.

Lately he has been contemplating if living a life without is so terrible. It has shaped him, made him strong and dependable. This time when he and his sister journey out into the world it is with the idea that maybe g e will simply find a companion and not journey back. Find another home, another place. Prince will never give up his quest, but he knows there are more things in life. Maybe it is his destiny to be the strongest nameless ever to come from the Weyr of Singing Spires.

and maybe that realization is the first step towards his hearts desire. But......does he truly even know what it is his heart desires most?

It happened when he and his sister were wandering. They found the small ball of feathers curled up cold and afraid. The little dark she dragon was full of black and white markings and had sad eyes. They brought her home to the clan, and immediately another there, Thomasettith, was smitten with her. He named her Ineth in honour of his lost mate, and took her under his wing [literally] as his daughter.

For briging that little bit of happiness to his clan, both Prince and Princess finally earned thier names.
