Biography

uqwCdUh.png
This canyon gryff uses an item called Iridescent clouds to create the illusion of a galaxy in the sky behind it.

The three moons in the picture (there are three, I promise :D) are from an older monthly set, three different variants on it (monthly sets usually come in 4 buyable for gold sets, one token shop set and another set obtained through a different medium), while the shrubs come from a completely different monthly set, this one themed around a rainy forest I believe.

The small gryff with the colors of the large gryff was a specially obtained event item, while the three 'ghost gryffs' I don't quite know where they came from as they came from before my time.

This is my 'Underwater scene' As you notice the gryff is completely hidden by the items, which are all foreground items. We were given a 'monster' set that had bottoms and tops and one of them was underwater colored.

Most of the 'bubbles' are River LIghts in Iridescent form (another monthly item, but I think these were the bonus ones, unfortunately they are VERY hard to find for sale and were before my time. I want more *cries*)

The blur in the foreground at the bottom is a fern foreground.

If you look in the middle (a bit hard to see) there are some clustered 'bubbles'. Those are actually an accessory item that conforms to the gryff called scattered scales.

None of the plants, nor the green water fall, are specifically for underwater scenes.

This gryff uses a gradient pearl blue backdrop to get the soft blue in the sky, while the pink tree trunks to either side are actually stone pillars.

This gryff uses some of the same shrubs and plants from other scenes above. It also has some water items and some of the same fish as in my underwater scene. It also has a varient of the brush leaves seen in my 'galaxy' gryff only these are green, not iridescent.

These items are ALL mismatched and truthfully, I am not sure where some of them came from originally (I know I bought them all), but there is a white fog item that came from a 'valley' set, snow covered trees that were probably advent items, and so on.

This is another example of how foreground items and accessories can be used together. The 'ghost' is created by use of a aura/light around the gryff and a white 'stray stars' set that was recently released.

The cubs are an advent item, and the shrubs they are slumbering under are from yet another monthly set.

Though VERY hard to see, there is also another night time set, this time a spruce themed set. The hints of blue are from a backdrop, and the moon and stars come from yet another advent calendar item.

ALL the roses come from one set, while most of the rest of the flowers are hunting items currently able to be found when hunting.

The flower ground cover is actually from the same set as the white fog item above, though in different variants and is actually 3 or 4 different items.

This last one shows how few items can create a good scene (at least to me)

There are four items equipped to the gryff (not counting the mini-gryffs) and what I love most is that right behind the wing, just above the sitting mini-gryff, the way things are done, it looks like there is a river in the far background winding its way away. (this looks much better on a dark screen. Hmm... need to get a black postcard for him)
