A scholar and a philosopher, Horatio finds himself in the unlikely companionship of prince Hamlet during his time in college. Despite their differences, the two complimented one another well, and became close friends. As tragedy befell the royal family of Denmark, Horatio remained steadfast beside his prince amidst the treachery that runs from the very roots of the kingdom. However, for all his soothing words and wise consul, Horatio could not halt the poisoned blade that leeched the life from his dearest friend and would-be ruler.
For a time after the ill-dated duel, Horatio contemplated breaking his final vow to the prince. But try as he might, it was not in Horatio's nature to be selfish. And so, with the voice of the deceased prince whispering secrets and memories of teeth into his ear, Horatio documented the tale of prince Hamlet. The prince of Denmark, the would-be king. An usurper. A hero. His dearest friend.
