Squidgy was not supposed to survive, let alone even come into being. It was a blisteringly hot night in the Molten Scar when she and her sister Leo was discovered. The two hatchlings were barely a day old, chips of charred shell still lingering on their fur and hide. An old, traveling healer took the two in, a Coatl by the name of Atticus.
