Not one to strike up a conversation (or even tolerate one), Skáth has no interest in polite small-talk. The only words out of his mouth are usually demands. He has a very bold, pushy personality. Not loud or obnoxious, he just does not take "no" for an answer. He simply walked into the Lair one day and, within a few minutes of entering, declared it home whether the previous residents liked it or not.

When he found his ideal mate, he began courting her instantly, thoroughly and profusely. When he said he was going to court her, no matter her thoughts on the matter, she tried to send him away. He spent the next two years never once leaving her side until she finally relented and agreed to Bond with him.

Despite appearances, Scáth is an honest and devout romantic; candle-lit dinners, midnight walks on the beach, and flowers for every anniversary (no matter how inconsequential). He showers his little mate in affection and gifts simply because he wants to and her smile brings him joy.

He is, however, extremely aloof with others.

And abrasive.

Very abrasive.

For all his cold behavior, he does nothing to hide is soft, romantic side. In fact, he seems to take some measure of pride in it.

He has no temper to speak of and a very neutral, low-key energy. He looks down on those who let their emotions influence their decisions, but he’s not the type to argue with them either. He seems to consider himself higher/better than almost everyone else (save Nubiti, whom he worships).

Skáth is the true genius of the Clan, though no one will ever know it. He is highly intelligent, but does nothing with it. He is unemotional, has a photographic memory, and an analytical and tactical mind. He picks up on things quickly and is able to think in both linear and abstract patterns to come to his conclusions. His only real intellectual flaw is that he assumes everyone else thinks in the same manner he does. What he considers an obvious conclusion, others can't seem to process and it confuses and irritates him. In his opinion, everyone else in this clan is a total moron.

He spends most of his time silently judging everyone and everything and every situation.

And he is not impressed.

While his mate, Nubiti, is often considered the smarter of the pair, she’s probably the only one who knows the truth, and only because he whispers snide comments and criticisms of what "should" be. She will voice his thoughts (in a kinder and more considerate manner) and everyone is impressed with her insight. He lets her take the credit because "dealing with these fools is too much work."
