“Musicians don't retire; they stop when there's no more music in them.”
Faye had long been wandering Sorneith spreading her song wherever she went in-exchange for food and a place to stay. All across the land she made friends, had mates, even had children. Music and travel always beckoned her forward, so off she went. Once she settled down looking for a place to truly call home, one to stay in for the rest of her life, however long it would be, she stayed in the Starfall Isles. Now she plays her music for the clan. Despite being one of the older dragons around, she’s still just as energetic as she was during her travels. She still gets to flex her creativity on a daily basis, coming up with new songs to play. Once she played a rather creepy song from the latest horror movie, and the poor hatchlings had no sleep for the next week. The adults didn’t either for that matter. This cheerful dragon was more than happy to settle down and settle in. She had her music. There were plenty of things to do in the clan. Plenty of dragons to meet, and this time the dragons who she called friends would know her for longer than a week or a festival. One in particular caught her eye, another Imperial named Adrian. At Faye’s age there really was no point in being shy or playing hard to get. Once she knew that she had feelings for him (the feeling wasn’t terribly hard to recognize), she went right up to him and confessed. He accepted and two easily became a couple. Both were older than plenty of the dragons in the clan, and they had seen and done more than the hatchlings could imagine. Both also had many, many children. It worked out surprisingly well.
