Poseidon

Poseidon is the neutral character. He's quite comfortable with his life and has no ambition seeing as he got saddled with a job that he felt fine with.

He is often dragged along by Zeus. Poseidon doesn't really mind it, but there were days when he would rather just stick to his job in peace.

Hey everyone
I as you may know am Poseidon king of the sea, though I prefer to be a prince. Water always taught me how to keep calm and relax, Mabye that's why I can handle being dragged around by Zeus everyday.



Ok so it looks like he fell for it, as I was saying I'm a pretty 'Go with the flow' kind of guy if you catch my drift. That was a joke... Sort of...
So you sea, my life is pretty easy going, lots of friends, food, and a job that I enjoy! Get it 'you sea' heheh I am hilarious! What do you guys think? Aren't I funny? Ok fine Mabye I've been spending to much time around the circus... Darn it clowns....

Poseidon laid back on his throne as he watched the watery world around him. Everything was peaceful just how he liked it. Letting out a contented sigh, Poseidon proceeded to drift off, letting the world go about its business.

Then there was a knock on the door.

The Sea God grumbled, turning to his side, hoping that whoever it was would leave him in peace. The world wasn't scheduled to end anytime soon.

"Brother, Zeus has called another meeting of the gods. We are all required to attend." Despite his half-asleep state, Poseidon could tell that it was Hades. Well, the 'brother' part was a huge clue.

Sighing, Poseidon slowly got up fro his comfortable position. He was in no rush. Whatever it was Zeus wanted from them, he had no doubts it wasn't as important as he made it seem. Their youngest sibling had always been overly dramatic, 'And still, nobody but Hades and I find that disturbing in the least....'

Dragging his feet across the floor, Poseidon lazily made his way to open the door.

Red eyes scanned his appearance and sighed, "It is very convenient that you live under the sea, brother."

Yawning, Poseidon nodded, "And that, dear brother, is exactly why I'm perfectly happy with staying here until the End of Days."

Hades gave him a small smile, "Yes, but unlike you, I appreciate the little joys whenever Zeus summons us. It's a great relief to be away from the Underworld."

Poseidon shrugged, "Ah, the joys of being gods."

Poseidon took in the gloomy appearance of his brother. Hades's extremely pale skin highly contrasted with his black robes. He rarely got any reprieve from his duties. It's difficult to book a vacation when there are mortals dying everyday.

Arriving at Olympus, they were rushed to the throne room where Zeus was waiting. As soon as he saw them he began to relay his latest 'crisis'. Hades listened intently to his brother's plight while Poseidon was concentrating to hold back another yawn.

When Zeus had asked for their council, he immediately shot down Hades' idea and turned to him, "So brother, what do you suggest?"

Not having listened to anything about the problem, Poseidon shrugged and said the first thing that came to mind, "Sea beds."

Silence...

"That's brilliant!" beamed Zeus. Not really expecting that kind of reaction Poseidon leaned a little to Hades and whispered, "What is so brilliant about 'sea beds'?"

The God of the Underworld chuckled slightly, "He was panicking about what to get for that nymph he was with."

The Sea God raised an eyebrow as he watched Zeus shuffle around, shooting orders at anyone and everyone he found. Shaking his head, Poseidon excused himself from the room. His 'brilliance' deserved a nice, long nap.
