"My life story? Hmm. No. No, I don't think so. Not yet, at any rate. We will get to my past later. It's not somewhere I want to go just yet. However, I will gladly speak of my life after we came to join the Great Family. That would be my daughter, Morgan and I. When we stumbled upon the Great Family it was quite literal. It was in the midst of a great storm, the wind was howling and the rain was lashing across us, almost biting us in its ferocity. Naturally, as I was born of a Lightning clan, this did not bother me in the least, rather I found it invigorating, however my Morgan was still a hatchling and she was afraid. Not of the dark, mind you, she WAS born in a Shadow Clan, but the Stormcatcher's music did not quicken her heart, it caused her great fear. We had made our way almost to the Behemoth, as I had heard the Gladekeeper whispering in my mind as I slept. We were seeking shelter from the storm, when I spied a great rock. Pulling Morgan close at my side we made our way there and I placed her in shadow of the boulder and pressed my wings around her to give her a sense of safety when suddenly the great boulder began to quake and a gravelly voice began to laugh. That is the story of how I met my dearest friend Diopside.
