Glad it's helping! ^^ It's the only guide I ever use now. And it can take a little bit getting your first team done, admittedly. :/ I would gladly help level your dragons for you to around lv15 ^^ However, since you can't trade your starter dragons, I would only be able to help Nightshade of the ones you're currently doing. Just let me know if you'd like some help ~

Oh yeah, I would also say to make sure that you pick dragons that you will never get sick of as your trainers, since some of the stones are very expensive and you don't want to end up falling out of love with them (I'm talking from experience; I had to replace my original team since they ended up not fitting in my aesthetic anymore - I gave them to my sister, instead.) If you need help getting any of the stones, just let me know! (I have extra scratches and shreds if you still need to get those for your Tundra.)

Eventually, I would suggest getting an Arcane dragon (pink eyes - has this icon on their page arcane_rune_20.png) Should you get one to lv25, you will be able to train dragons very quickly in the Mire (I do that all the time, and make around 12kt per dragon that I level and exalt.) Arcane is the best choice, since it has the least amount of weaknesses to enemies there. If you would like to pick up a good Arcane dragon and need help getting one, please let me know! We can look through the Auction House (AH) and find the perfect one. ^^ Don't worry too much about price, as I would be happy to buy one for you.

About exalting dragons: some people act like you're killing them, but you definitely are not! It's of the highest honor for a dragon to serve a deity, so never feel bad about exalting dragons. It's also one of the best ways to make treasure on the site (and you can also trade the treasure you make for gems, by finding people in the "items for sale" forums.)

Also, in order for someone to see a reply on your clan profile, you have to post your comment on the page of the person you are talking to (I missed you saying about how Xytu is based off of one of your Ovipets) (So I post on your profile, which notifies you, so you then post on mine for it to notify me)

As for overall things to get you started:

• Which Waystone:
You probably found this already, but it will remind you of things that you can do each day. Always be sure to grab your free item (some rare and exclusive things there!), bond with your familiars, and brewing in Baldwin, which lead me to our next point...

• Baldwin's Bubbling Brew:
A VERY extensive part of the site. Easy to forget about when first starting, but you should definitely start doing stuff with it ASAP! In Baldwin, you toss an item in the pot to transmute, and you get a special brew item in return. With these items, you can create new items: tons of cool exclusive apparel, familiars, genes, and even a breed! Here is a great guide to all things Baldwin! It lists all of the items that you can both make and transmute, and from where.

• Assay Bloodline:
Always use this when planning a breeding pair! This will check to make sure that they are not too closely related. If they are, you will not be able to breed them.

• Foresee Progeny:
Use this to see what the potential offspring of two dragons are. It will not warn you if they are too related or not the right genders from here.

Predict Morphology:
Use this to scry up previews of dragons. Here, you can see every single gene, color, and breed.

• Breeding Rarity Comparisons:
Use this guide to be able to see what all of the gene and breed rarities are, and what the ratios for each are when breeding your dragons.

• Eclipse's Apparel Catalog:
A must-have for dressing your dragons and see what all of the apparel on the site are. It lists ever single piece of clothing and has full sets already made so that you can preview them in the dressing room.

• How to Train Your Dragon:

• Festival Coliseum Guide:
On the last week of every month, there is a festival celebrating a certain Flight. During this week, you can get a special currency just to spend on festival items. One way to get them is by fighting the coliseum; enemies of that element or neutral might drop this special currency. Read this guide for every festival to know the best places to grind! If you aren't high enough for the best area, just find a good one for a lower level. For example, the best place for the Upcoming Thundercrack Carnivale (Lightning) is Volcanic Vents, but that is lv18, but Blooming Grove is also good, which is lv11, so you should aim for at least lv11 for this upcoming festival.

If you are a fellow Ice Flight member, there are many great services and such in our flight! I would suggest that you take a look at these:

• Snowy Snack Shack:
You can request some food for your dragons here, in case you are running low. New players can get some extra!

• Familiar Giveaway:
You can request 1 familiar a day here. Just use the spreadsheet that they have to see which attendant has one you want, and then ping them asking for it.

• Triple-Ice Dragon Giveaway:
Okay, so I run this one, but thought you might be interested! I have 20 pairs of all-ice dragons that I breed and adopt out. If you are interested in any, just let me know! ~

• Newbie Coliseum Challenge:
I participated in one of these when I first joined, and made getting my team done more enjoyable. Just let them know your team, and when you hit milestones, you get rewards. It also has many useful links to get you started with Dominance.

Also, once you get yourself a team of lv25 dragons (or just 1 that is Arcane) you can start participating more in dominance! What dom is : every week, the 11 flights are tallied on how many dragons they exalt, and the three with the most get bonuses the whole next week (dom discount include getting things cheaper in the treasure marketplace, getting a little discount on lair expansions, and getting extra gathering turns and treasure.) Here're some great dom threads:

• Intro to Ice Dom:
This will basically give you the rundown of what Dom is and how we as the Ice Flight do it. Definitely give this a read ~

• Ice Dom Hub:
This covers all of our Dom planning and schedule for when we push. Once you understand dom and how it works, and want to start participating, check this out.

• One-Stop Dom Shop:
You can get any battlestone here for a great discount! I would highly suggest hitting this up for training your dragons. Best thing they do is sponsor an Eliminate; those things are crazy expensive, but totally worth the price. That item will make your like a million times easier and make exalting dragons very fast. If you do get an Eliminate, I would suggest to FIRST put it on an Arcane dragon!! That way, you will only need 1 dragon with Eliminate to be able to make the most of the coliseum for training dragons to exalt. If you put it on a non-Arcane dragon, you will need at least 2 of them, and leveling/exalting is so much slower that way.

Apologies for the word wall; I just wanted to give you all of the useful links and threads that I think would help you get into the site. Don't feel as if you have to get to all of it right now, but bookmark/favorite this for future reference! ~

If you ever need help with anything else, just let me know! ^^
