"I...will not be...bad again." An fierce dragon with a fighting spirit one might expect to be at home in Plague, there is nothing that thrills Felidae more than hunting. He wears the bones of his prey with somewhat morbid pride. Felidae is not good with communication. One time in his early days in the Den, he became frustrated and overwhelmed, which led to him lashing out and attacking Daybreak. After he had calmed down, he deeply regretted what he had done and is doing his best to improve. He is learning how to better act around others and has made great strides in controlling his impulses. Being given the task to hunt food for the clan's meat-eaters has helped his progress significantly, as hunting down animals gives him an outlet for aggression as well as goals that he can focus on. The most that anyone knows about him is that he hails from somewhere in the Southern Icefield. Anything else, he has neglected to share publicly. This makes Felidae's past a hotly debated topic among the more gossip-prone members of the Den. Things such as his animistic demeanor and his weak (yet improving) grasp on language raise eyebrows. Perhaps the oddest thing was how Legerdemain was seen with Felidae soon after the sorcerer arrived to the clan, with the two spending multiple hours speaking in hushed whispers in Felidae's den. Ledgerdemain didn't give anyone else the time of day, what made Felidae so interesting? Everyone was shocked when Felidae and Azalea became mates. The wild hunter and the mild-mannered hoardkeeper? It seemed like a practical joke! No one is sure what exactly attracted them to each other in the first place, but the two are very happy and enjoy each other's company immensely. Perhaps it's because they both prefer to be silent. |
