"Blink and you'll miss me!" Sectrin was a dedicated student of Arcane magic in their youth, enthralled by their own abilities to bend space ever so slightly. They studied extensively, and practiced their physical prowess when they weren't honing their magical prowess. One day they accomplished their most impressive feat yet, teleporting themself a few feet away from where they had been standing. Though they came back a bit different than they had started; strange feathers grew from their wings, and a fifth eye floated above their forehead. With that eye, Sectrin was able to see areas where the laylines of Arcane magic weakened the fabric of space, making it easier for them to find where they can more easily perform their teleportation trick. Naturally, they used this newfound ability to kick butt. Being both scrappy and studious paid off for the Mirror. Sectrin's ability made them a perfect bodyguard, able to disappear in an instant to fight a looming threat, only to pop back near their charge to protect them from close range. They developed a bit of a reputation that eventually made its way to Mothden. Sunset sought out their permanent service in guarding inexperienced members of the Den leaving its territory after a frightening incident culminating in her son being transformed and a dead dragon crawling out of the ground. Sectrin was more than happy to oblige, pleased to find a home that was sure to always be interesting. Boisterous and perhaps overly-friendly at times, Sectrin is always a huge presence wherever they are. Some members of the Den appreciate this more than others, but none can say they think Sectrin has anything other than good intentions, and all know they're a darn good bodyguard. They've gotten to be quite close with Festive and Cordiela, the other two Mirrors in the clan, and the three enjoy going on outings together. |
