He was intended from birth for the service of Lightweaver. However, shortly after his hatching a clan emergency shifted the focus from all day to day matters. He spent those days wandering around, and quickly discovered he both loved and had a knack for memorizing trivia, random facts, and information. With little else to do, he practiced his skills constantly, memorizing everything from the number of steps per dragon it took to cross the main lair, to the number of spines each Clan Clutter Ridgeback had. Often, he would volunteer information not noticed or forgotten by the clan, and without quite knowing it, they came to rely on him a great deal. When focus did return to he and his hatchlings, he (humbly) notified them of his abilities the only way he could think of: on the way to the exalt pillars, he recited verbatum the Clan Council's discussions about he and his family. By the time they arrived, the decision had been made: he would stay, provided he never recite anything that long again. He happily agreed. |
The Noodle Project
I suspect if you are not fond of purposefully trying to obtain certain genes, you should skip both this section and the next. Ah, to put it politically, Skybax, Seras, and Veceveron are currently pursuing the outlandish idea they had to form a subspecies. Of what flight, I could not say. Certainly not Light! They want a breed of Spiral with an ivory (or banana, they've told me) Rippled body, seraph wings and spines. But the spines and the seraph must reasonably match. And I believe they said something about no monochrome wings. They have, in fact, sent several ambassadors of the breed out, to increase awareness. I hope you can detect the disapproval in my tone. I told them they needed a good breeding card and a Hatchery, but no one listens to me unless they want to know something. What? I'm straying off topic? Now, this is what I am talking about. -sigh-
The Tundra Project
The Tundra Project is far larger than the aforementioned Noodle Project. It used to seem that on some days most of the clan belonged to the Tundra Project. But ProjTun really slimmed down recently, so there are far fewer pairs. I myself owe my existence to a retired member), probably because the goals are far stricter. The overall goal is to start a hatchery. This hatchery will produce a tundra even the Icewarden would envy, complete with a Sky Iridescent gene, a range of blue striped secondaries, and a white Gembond. I think they think gembond looks like snow...but what do I know.
Job/Role Directory
I am the most current and up to date information source a dragon could wish for. The mail service dreams of having a dragon like me in their employ. That being said, even the best of us make mistakes. That also being said, I doubt there are any mistakes here. I pay close attention to the happenings of the clan.

Shelter for RP Dragons
Let's not kid. This is why you came.
Let me tell you a bit of a story about something that was coming to a head when I was a hatchling...
There used to be two different Ridgebacks in our clan, Suu and Bir's parents. Now, their mother Etyne was great, but after a while she left us. And their father, Makxis, well...he was...unstable. If I had been older when this was happening, I'd have a better report, but as it is they kept us from him. He apparently was always a little melancholy, but when Etyne left him, he started going downhill. The story goes, that the Council tried to find him a home, but out of the six or so promising ones, nothing worked. And that just made him worse. The crisis came about while trying to find him a spot on a pirate ship (things got bad, I'm telling you), when he (and like I said, if I was around, I could say more definitively, but I've never met him) claimed that if he joined, he'd be wiling to kill other dragons. Red flag, anyone? And I'm not talking Fire Flight Banner. Well, luckily they found him a good (and willing) home. Otherwise, maybe there would not have been a Clan Clutter! I'm joking, again. Though I don't know if Suu and Bir (they are our fighters) could've killed their father.
Okay, so I'm not a story-teller. I'm a fact-knower. But at any rate, we come to the Agency. The clan, being Acolights and obviously therefore blaming themselves, decided to start a shelter and adoption agency for dragons with bad pasts, tough lives, or (thanks to Yaazania) last chance exalts. They cleared some space. Thankfully, space not to close to the main clan. And we've recruited some dragons who have experience or are capable of handling dragons who, I assume, will be the same or worse than Makxis. That'd mainly be Arcturus and Gvarsh, and Marun. And I suppose I'll help all I can. Anyway, that's the Agency. If you want something more poetic, talk to Arcturus.
