Levitas has been with the Akashaa since it's near founding, and has watched and seen through the clan to it's current prosperity. He is one of the oldest dragons of the clan, and certainly the wisest. He's often sought out for advice, to be found in his treasured library- he's restored the building and largely amassed the clan's collection himself.

Accompanying him in the library are often his long-graduated apprentice September, whom assists him with things he's much too big for, and occasionally, his partner, Rhys, who brings him ancient tomes and scrolls.

Levitas has a... troubled past. While he doesn't speak on his childhood, it's assumed to be grim, as he avoids speaking on it at all. He speaks only of when he was much older, and his mate Forde, whom had died in an attack and become an Emperor, entangled with another member of Levitas' patrol. Levitas says if he hadn't gotten lost in the fog that morning, it's likely he would've joined them.

Levitas had joined the Akashaa when the clan didn't even yet have a name. Nymphadora had taken him in from the market, a withered old Imperial offering advice when she'd sought history books. Nymphadora remarks that for all the mistakes she feels she made as leader, trusting Levitas was never among them.

Levitas struggled with severe depression for a long time, even after coming to the Akashaa. While he's not perfectly recovered from his experiences, ones he's spoken on and not, he has become much better after working and finishing his massive project of restoring the building for his library. He takes great pleasure in teaching the clan's hatchlings and adding to his book collection.
