Conniving, cold, calculating… these would have described Leviathan several years ago. Nowadays, he’s mostly exhausted. A natural schemer, he had always wanted to be the leader of something, but by the end of the clan’s relocation to Clan Tempest he found he was the only one at all who actually wanted the leadership position, and even then, it was more of an honorary title than anything. He’s taken quite a few steps in humility, what with realizing that it’s a lot easier to just sit there and scheme as opposed to actually being in charge, but he’s managing - especially now that he and his mate, Insularia, actually understand each other and don’t hide things. Y’know! Like mature dragons!

Levi doesn't care for hard work and is mostly used to scraping by on half-baked quality - tricking others to do what he wants instead of doing it himself. However, he's also something of a perfectionist and is almost never satisfied with the quality of other people's work, so he has to do it himself anyway?? It's hard for him to learn new things, to stoop to such lows to admit that he isn't the best at everything, and the only thing keeping him from breaking down entirely is the knowledge that a) the younger dragons in the clan have only ever known him as this competent leader, and b) well no one ELSE knows what they're doing either, so if anyone judges him they can Shut. For once, he's realizing that he has a legacy to uphold, so it looks like he ought to do his very best to just try to be good.

Leviathan tries to keep the clan in working condition, dividing the various members of the group into their various roles - fighters, gatherers, architects who aim to fortify their new home in a weird mansion in the middle of the woods. It's kind of a miracle that they found this mansion instead of having to live in some forsaken cave in the middle of nowhere again, but there are so many mimics and crumbling structures that it almost doesn't feel worth it. We're managing, though.

Leviathan's mate. She jokes that she's also his first mate, as she's in charge of all the bureaucratic clan affairs while he gets to sit around and look pretty, just like the captain of her old clan. Leviathan deeply respects her and... tolerates her more shifty behavior. He trusts her with everything, which would only be a problem if she didn't trust him with everything too.

In the aftermath of the Wisteria Whirls, which led to a complete and total collapse of nearly every friend and family group in the clan, Leviathan hesitantly extended an invitation to Vega to take on a leadership role alongside him. Leviathan knows that Vega is steadfastly devoted to his clan and his family, and heavily admires this trait. Levi also knows that three years ago he would have taken advantage of this trait for everything it's worth. He tries not to think about this much.

Although Blur is in charge of the clan finances (and she's dang good at it), Leviathan doesn't fully trust her. This may be for the best, because Blur can be kind of flakey sometimes and also irresponsible. He thinks her enthusiasm to be endearing, though, and will probably warm up to her... probably. Eventually.
