Traiqe Highblood

Updated Notes:
- Once his birthclan fell, he sought out a new clan and was accepted into the Z'Arduani as a respected elder and leading advisor
- One day, he accidentally walked into a room where a dragon was reading a breed-change spell aloud, causing him to morph into a Tundra.
- From that day forward he has forgotten everything about his former glory, his stubborn pride, and his former clan's great downfall. Sometimes, though, the stench of blood or rot will give him flashbacks to his years in the Scarred Wasteland
- Although he cannot perform well as a leadership advisor any longer, the king still keeps Traiqe in a high position out of respect.

Traiqe is the oldest member of the Z'Arduani. In fact, he was the founder and patriarch of Z'Arduani's mother clan, the Agony Syndicate. Inoso often confides in him for wisdom and advice on how to run the clan smoothly.

As legend suggests, this drake in his time was not hesitant to destroy those who opposed him. On the other hand, he was reasonable during the trials of his enemies and sought council from his advisors to help guide him in his important decisions.

To this day, despite his age and the loss of his clan, the way he carries himself is full of pride but not arrogant, and graceful in a way that holds intimidating power. He never gives off too much expression of emotion and handles all matters in a cold, businesslike stature. His personality demands respect, and that is what he is given.

Traiqe has an average build for a dragon of his species, although his tail is a bit longer than normal due to having previously been a Fae. In his age he has lost much of his weight, his ribs protruding from beneath his skin despite the regal air he gives off with his presence. This dragon, if any, surely looks to be a king of the Plague domain. Over the years his scales have begun to weather, but his aura is still intimidating and powerful despite his withered body and drifting mind.

As soon as he was old enough to leave the nest, Traiqe knew that his goal was to create a clan of his own. But his clan would not be a small hive of Faes like all of the clans he had known before. He would rule a clan of giants.

Despite his tiny size and rather unintimidating looks, Traiqe used his Plague-born strength to overpower his birthclan and claim a territory near the border of the Wandering Contagion and the Starwood Strand. He built his amber nest on one of the higher walls of his den to overlook the dragons that would soon bow to him. His charm and resilience lured in dragons from all across the realm, the first being an old Mirror named Nefta. She helped him to create a reputation by spreading rumors of his powerful leadership among clans of Pearlcatchers, a breed known for their love of gossip. Dragons came pouring in at the entrance to his den, but Traiqe would only allow dragons with the most elite traits into his clan.
His clan's bloodline would seethe with power, and he would be the legend at its head. The Agony Syndicate was born.

The clan thrived for countless years, strong and resilient within the deepest and most uninhabitable Plague regions. However, as the Syndicate aged, the eldest of the dragons began to adapt to the ever-changing region while the younger dragons did not. All the younger generations began to die out and fade away, while the older generations remained. Traiqe took this as an omen and decided that the clan would no longer be open to new members; only the oldest dragons could be the most powerful.

Time went on, and as the elders became more old and fragile, so did the ties of the clan. The constant battle against disease, beasts, and rival clans became too much for the once-great clan to handle any longer. The remaining members of the clan scattered all across Sornieth, seeking refuge. Nefta stayed by Traiqe's side as all the others left without lament, but finally she abandoned him as well. Traiqe was forced to leave his former home, taken aback by the empty skeleton of a lair that used to be teeming with power and wealth.

Finally he came across the Z'Arduani, a clan of younger dragons that had been founded by the first generation of hatchlings born within the confines of the Syndicate. Traiqe, without losing his dignity, respectfully explained his situation to the clan leader and requested a place within the Z'Arduani. He was accepted with awe and excitement into the clan, and now lives as a figurehead of what once was.
