B I O G R A P H Y

Water provides life. It nurtures everything. Not even the toughest cactus could survive without water. Water is seen as pure to many, seen as something that will never let you down. Water can be trusted. It is a sturdy solid if you read it right, and will allow safe passage across a frozen lake. It will provide rain by forming into clouds, and allow the harsh sun to be hidden on days it is needed. Water is, by nature, a life-giving substance. Yet not all water is equal. It can give life to many different things, and for some, that's poison.

Many deaths have occurred due to bad water, yet some bacteria find such conditions beautiful. They strive in the filth. Toxic water was a blessing to Leviathan. The stench and slime that she was born and matured in was her haven. She knew the bacterium that lurked in the soft waves. She knew what pollution did to the beautiful drinking waters of clans. If they didn't clean up, then Leviathan was eventually there, making sure they understood what problems their clan's ill practices caused. Much to Leviathan's distaste, she wasn't left unwatched.

Dragons from many clans recognized the threat she proposed to them and had begun to watch her silently. Dragons born and raised in pure water pushed away the filth. Fire dragons, after spotting her, boiled the water. Earth dragons ran water through layers of rock and sediment to purify it, leaving only healthy minerals. Leviathan found herself out of a job. Or, out of a hobby, was a better term for it. The clans that knew of her had become more careful. It was boring now. Only the wandering dragons that came by a still lake or sour part of a forgotten river ended up bearing an illness. By all accounts, Leviathan was as much as a playful Plague dragon as she was a master of the water. Hiding within the depths of the river or lake she had claimed for a short time. Making her pearl larger with the memories of those that had taken on an illness. The part that showed the dead was well-developed than the one that showed the living.

B I O G R A P H Y

Her fun was soon put to an end by a couple of well-trained dragons. They captured Leviathan, quickly pushing her into a specially made part of the clan. She could pollute the water there all she liked, but if the disease ever moved out of the boundaries, she would suffer for it. A clan had taken it upon themselves to control the unstable, unpredictable dragon. Such a creature, that could harvest dangerous creatures within the water, unseen and untasted, needed to be monitored. Leviathan wasn't having it. How could she, a creature born with amazing powers, be contained like this? She tried to work her way past her small boundaries. To spread disease into the clan, yet she was stopped every time. There was never a moment Leviathan wasn't being watched carefully. Various dragons kept their eyes on her. Telling her what she could and couldn't do like she was some sort of child! Right as they may be. Leviathan had to teach herself about the world. Being mature never really seemed to settle into her head. She did as she pleased. Played pranks as she saw fit. But that was what fun was! It was also what made her dangerous.

Despite being watched at every moment, she had plenty of freedom. She could play with the dirty, sick water in what was referred to by the clan as the stall. The stall was never accessed by anyone that couldn’t handle the water. Instead, it was carefully watched. Leviathan was free to play in there as she pleased, to do what she wished. She was known to torture any animals that wandered inside. As long as she left the clan alone, no one minded her company. Yet she was too unstable for many dragons to handle. She would be speaking clearly one minute then screeching the next. Her hyper activeness almost impossible to predict or control.
