‡ The Astar and judge of the Refuge. "Astar" means faith, meaning Aryse is literally the faith of Kairos and the dragons have put their trust in him to guide them.
‡ Well-loved by the dragons of Kairos, he is considered both just and compassionate.
‡ Strong sense of morals and sometimes takes days to make a decision if he finds himself morally conflicted.
‡ Fiercely loyal and protective of the Refuge, he refuses to to condone any action that does anyone harm.
‡ Willing to listen and take advice, but is sometimes stubborn. He may struggle to apologize when he's wrong but will eventually out of a sense of duty.

‡ Stolen from his birth clan as a hatchling, he was raised as a warrior in a bloody, ruthless clan. He was forced to fight alongside them, something that still weighs heavy on his conscience.
‡ He was cursed in one such battle, that he would never speak until he showed true remorse and compassion.
‡ Aryse fled his clan and traveled Sornieth, helping and protecting vulnerable dragons he met until he truly changed and his curse was lifted. To this day, his voice is soft and scratchy, a remnant of the curse.
‡ Eventually found the Refuge, and ended up being mentored by Varda, then leader of Kairos. When she eventually passed on, he became minister.
